text isnt a big deal, aslong as it isn't untruding on the piece a great deal it doesn't matter.

hm, its your opinion, your artwork. but i personally feel the typography is leading my eye way too much towards it. that is why i said to get rid of it

unless it is going to have some real typography complimenting the piece, its just there as informative as to the title of the piece and/or it's artists. So as this text has no (artistic) typographic intent, and since it isn't interrupting anything, it stays. Unless i decide to have no text which i am still deliberating.
